I am currently 51 and reside in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I moved here from the southern US September 2019, right before Covid hit. It has been an experience.
I describe myself as "half dryad", as nature and all within have been a part of me almost from the very beginning, and the green truth has only gotten stronger with age. I do not have a specific ideology or religion; eclectic or "greenwitch" seem to be the closest that I can find. I have more plants as friends than I do people; I am most at peace in the woods alone, talking to trees.
I started this blog originally as a place to do a sort of online role-playing. It morphed into a tale that did not seem to want to grow; so I reburied it back into the earth from which it came and have started anew. I hope to gather together like minded folks in the local area into a new friend group--this from one who prefers to grow alone most of the time! But new sprouts are helpful; and sometimes you must take cuttings to grow the forest around you.
